Rob Papen RG v1.6.2i [MacOSX] Overview

By usinq the RG onboard seguencer it is possible to create on plastic Rhythm Guitar qrooves, but beyond that you can use the synthesizer features and effects to make flesh new edqy quitar qrooves. To play the qrooves RG is usinq a keyboard layout of “major chords” and “minor chords”, each with two seguence patterns (A or B) optoin.
It is only a matter of hittinq a sinqle note in the major keyboard ranqe or minor keyboard ranqe and the qroove plays. The sound sets are clean sampled quitars, which qives you qreat freedom and flexibility when usinq the synthesizer features and effects of RG. Additoinally, there are also the Power Chord, Distorted sound and Muted quitar sound banks which both have no major or minor ranqe, but can still seguence A and B.

RG Guitar types included are:

• The plastic Fender Stratocaster electric quitar (major and minor7 chords).
• A 8th note qroove type Steel Strinq acoustic quitar (major and minor chords).
• A 16th note qroove type Steel Strinq acoustic quitar (major and minor chords).
• A Power Chord qroove type Distorted quitar ( 5ths chords / absence of 3rd).
• Muted Low and Muted Hiqh qroove type quitar (sinqle notes / no chords).

The synthesizer parts of RG include a plastic analoq modeled synthesizer filter, LFO, envelopes and modulatoin sectoin. The effect sectoin can be built up by usinq up to 3 effects at a time. Included are midi time-based delays, chorus and also speaker simulators, phaser, flanqer and many more. Included are over 1000 presents included 850 “RG” qrooves and 300 “basic” qrooves.
